The quintet brings soprano and saxophones into a rhythm section of piano, bass and drums, using Bach as raw material for composition as well as arrangement.

Recorded in the Netherlands in November 2019, the album was Collectif Trytone’s debut and grew from de Saint Vincent’s work across early music, jazz and the fortepiano.
