Sánchez arranged the whole set for piano trio rather than selecting only the inventions that lend themselves most readily to swing.

The project later became part of Fundación Juan March’s Bach survey, where the trio’s performance sat alongside complete cycles of the English Suites, solo-violin works and cello suites.
