Édouard Ferlet’s experiments with Bach took two forms from 2012 onwards: solo piano in Think Bach, and a partnership with harpsichordist Violaine Cochard in Plucked Unplucked. Their two keyboards attack the note differently, a contrast that becomes part of the improvisation. Round Satie extends the partnership with violin and voice.
