Chris Hinze marked forty years of recording by bringing several strands of his work onto one album. His flute is joined by Claron McFadden’s soprano, Majid Bekkas on oud and guembri, cellos, drums, keyboards and programming; the baroque pieces emerge from a sound world that also contains Gnawa music, Gregorian voices, Zen monks and electronics.
