The trio turns the tiny Prelude in C minor, BWV 999, normally little more than a minute, into the album’s long solo, duo and trio climax.
Elsewhere Jagodziński redistributes Bach’s counterpoint between the instruments, even handing part of the piano’s left-hand line in BWV 853 to the bass.
