Each track on Come Bach to Me joins a classical work to a jazz standard, pop song or original. Some begin with a surprisingly straight Hammond reading before the second tune comes into focus. The transition itself becomes the subject of the arrangement.
Scott recorded the album with drummer Felix Simtaine. The two-person format lets her B3 do several jobs at once: melody, harmony and bass, as well as the sustained weight normally supplied by a larger ensemble.
