Cicero’s partner at the second keyboard was an intriguing choice: Wilhelm Krumbach was a concert organist and musicologist best known for playing Bach on historical instruments.

Their meeting becomes a miniature keyboard laboratory, moving between piano, positive organ, harpsichord and fortepiano before the ten-minute fantasia “God, I’m Yours” brings organ and piano face to face.
