Tam Dean Burn retells the story in Scots, so Peter goes “oot in the country” and the wolf becomes something Grandpa asks about in the vernacular.

Tommy Smith’s arrangement turns Prokofiev’s character motifs into big-band material while keeping the narration central enough for the story still to work.
