- Adam Makowicz
Makowicz recorded this as an unaccompanied pianist, letting the improvisation grow directly out of Chopin without a rhythm section to announce the change of idiom.
It also belongs to his American period: he had already played a Chopin tribute at the French Embassy in Washington in 1999, the 150th anniversary of the composer’s death.
