The album is broader and more orchestral in reach than Arrighini’s Puccini-only project, moving from intimate arias to Wagner overtures and the Aida procession.
Its title, “visions in opera”, suits arrangements that treat the original scenes as images to be recast rather than attempting to reproduce their theatrical scale.
