The three singers of MoZuluArt grew up in Bulawayo with music passed orally through families and communities. On Township Serenade, their Zulu and Ndebele vocal harmony meets Roland Guggenbichler’s piano and a 19-piece Viennese orchestra. Five pieces draw on Haydn, Mozart and Ravel, as well as the anonymous Musette in D major, BWV Anh. 126.
