Brian Withycombe first released Classical Jazz Project in 2004. Seventeen years later, he went back to those ten arrangements and issued this new mix.
The new edition appends “(Jazz)” to every track title, though its premise is already plain. Withycombe keeps the melodies easy to recognise while changing the harmony, rhythm and keyboard colour around them.
