Chestnut’s gospel-inflected touch makes this less decorous than the title might suggest, especially when the C.

P.

E. Bach Solfeggio and Brahms dance enter the trio’s rhythmic world. Returning to the Moonlight at the end gives the album a frame rather than simply repeating its most marketable theme.
