Alexander Mironov developed Arimoya around the Jazz Philharmonic he directs at the Dubrava cultural centre in Sergiev Posad. Introitus captures the project’s 2020 line-up, with Ekaterina Pshenitsyna on bass guitar and Petr Ivshin on drums.

The album was not released until December 2021, four days before the same trio’s Bach record. Arimoya has since replaced the bass guitar with double bass and brought in a different drummer.
