Composer
Satie
Satie worked in Montmartre cabarets and carried popular idioms and parody into his concert music. Loussier builds four contrasting trio versions from the first Gymnopédie, while the Bágyi Balázs New Quartet alternates Satie adaptations with new pieces written in reply.
